(alopecia), Cansancio, Vómitos, Disminución De Las Menstruaciones (hipomenorrea), Manchas De Color Amarillo Naranja En La Planta De Los Pies, Palma De Las Manos O La Piel Que Rodea La Nariz O Labios. La Toxicidad Revierte Lentamente Con La Suspensión Del Tratamiento, Pero Los Signos Pueden Persistir Por Varias Semanas. Si Nota Efectos Adversos No Mencionados En Este Prospecto O Si Sufre Alguno De Los Efectos Adversos Descriptos De Forma Grave, Comuníqueselo A Su Médico.

¿Cómo Se Usa Este Medicamento?

Si Fuera Necesario, Limpiar Previamente Con Agua Tibia El área De Piel Afectada. Luego Secar Y Aplicar Sobre La Zona A Tratar. Repetir El Tratamiento 2 ó 3 Veces Por Día, Según Se Requiera.

¿Cómo Se Usa Este Medicamento?

Si Fuera Necesario, Limpiar Previamente Con Agua Tibia El área De Piel Afectada. Luego Secar Y Aplicar Sobre La Zona A Tratar. Repetir El Tratamiento 2 ó 3 Veces Por Día, Según Se Requiera.

Indicaciones:

-En Heridas Como Raspaduras, Abrasiones, Cortes Superficiales.

-En Quemaduras: Superficiales No Extensas, Como Por Ejemplo, Cuando La Piel Está Enrojecida Pero íntegra. En Quemaduras Por Contacto Con Superficies Calientes, Como Por Ejemplo, Horno, Pavas O Planchas; Y En Aquellas Producidas Con Agua Y Vapor En Pequeñas Ampollas O Costras.

-En Dermatitis Por Contacto (cáusticos, Detergentes, Alcoholes); Eccemas E Irritaciones De La Piel Por Rozamiento O Alergias.

-En Desprendimiento De La Piel En Adultos Mayores Suelen Aparecer Ampollas O Heridas Después De Traumatismos Menores.

Indicada para quemaduras, úlceras, escaras y heridas. Previene infecciones, alivia y regenera la piel.

Acción terapéutica:

Cicatrizante. Antibacteriano. Anestésico Local.

Indicaciones:

Tratamiento antiséptico y cicatrizante de afecciones dermatológicas infectadas o susceptibles de infectarse: úlceras, quemaduras. Se deben tener en cuenta las recomendaciones oficiales sobre el uso y prescripción adecuados de antibacterianos.

Precauciones y advertencias:

Por atenuar o suprimir la acción bacteriana local, la Sulfadiazina de Plata disminuye la autólisis de escaras, por ello son recomendables la hidroterapia diaria y el desbridamiento rápido de las escaras en pacientes con quemaduras de tercer grado. Existe una potencial reacción cruzada entre la Sulfadiazina de Plata y otras sulfonamidas. Si se presentara una reacción alérgica atribuible a la Sulfadiazina de Plata, la continuación de la terapia con este principio activo debe ser sopesada contra los riesgos potenciales de dicha reacción alérgica particular. En acetiladores lentos y en pacientes con insuficiencia renal y/o hepática se debe tener precaución por el riesgo de acumulación del medicamento; en estos casos es recomendable evitar la aplicación en lesiones de gran superficie y abiertas, sobre todo úlceras. También se debe tener precaución en caso de lesión del parénquima del hígado. Si aparecen signos de leucopenia se recomienda realizar un recuento leucocitario de control. En pacientes con insuficiencia de glucosa-6-fosfato deshidrogenasa el uso de la Sulfadiazina de Plata entraña el riesgo de hemólisis. Este medicamento NO debe ser aplicado sobre el ojo. En caso de aplicación sobre el rostro, debe evitarse todo contacto con los ojos. Debe evitarse la aplicación de Lidocaína sobre la piel durante períodos prolongados o en áreas muy extensas. Precauciones: Generales: Los pacientes sensibles a otras sulfonamidas, furosemida, diuréticos tiazídicos, sulfonilureas o inhibidores de la anhidrasa carbónica pueden ser sensibles a la Sulfadiazina de Plata. No se recomienda su uso en estos pacientes. En tratamientos prolongados o con altas dosis de Sulfadiazina de Plata, en pacientes con disfunción renal o hepática o con quemaduras extensas, dada la posibilidad de una menor eliminación o de acumulación de la droga, se deberá monitorear periódicamente la función renal y la presencia de cristales de orina. Se recomienda realizar un aporte suficiente de líquidos para alcanzar una diuresis de 50-100 ml/hora. La luz solar puede producir coloración gris de la Sulfadiazina de Plata. Por consiguiente, se recomienda evitar la exposición de las zonas tratadas con este producto a la luz solar directa, por ejemplo, cubriendo la crema con un apósito. Lidocaína: Los pacientes con metahemoglobinemia congénita o idiopática por deficiencia de glucosa-6-fosfato deshidrogenasa son más susceptibles a mostrar signos de metahemoglobinemia inducida por el fármaco. En pacientes con deficiencia de glucosa-6-fosfato deshidrogenasa, el antídoto azul de metileno es ineficaz para reducir la metahemoglobina y es capaz de oxidar la propia hemoglobina y, por consiguiente, no se puede administrar tratamiento con azul de metileno. Los pacientes en tratamiento con medicamentos antiarrítmicos clase III (p.ej., amiodarona) deben permanecer estrechamente vigilados y considerarse la monitorización por electrocardiograma (ECG), debido a que los efectos cardiacos pueden ser aditivos. La lidocaína posee propiedades bactericidas y antivirales en concentraciones superiores a 0,5- 2%. No se ha establecido la seguridad y la eficacia del uso de tópica en la piel genital ni en la mucosa genital en niños menores de 12 años. Pruebas de laboratorio: En el tratamiento de quemaduras que involucran extensas áreas del cuerpo, la concentración sérica de sulfa puede aproximarse a los niveles terapéuticos en el adulto. En pacientes con quemaduras extensas se deberán realizar antes y durante el tratamiento análisis hemáticos a fin de detectar discrasias sanguíneas. El tratamiento deberá discontinuarse ante una disminución significativa de cualquier elemento sanguíneo. Embarazo: Las sulfonamidas cruzan con facilidad la barrera placentaria durante todas las etapas de la gestación. Las sulfonamidas pueden desplazar a la bilirrubina de los sitios de unión a las proteínas en el plasma fetal e incrementar, de este modo, el riesgo de kernícterus. Si bien la experimentación en animales no ha demostrado efectos teratogénicos, al no haber estudios adecuados y bien controlados en embarazadas, se recomienda no administrar, especialmente en el último trimestre del embarazo. Este medicamento sólo se debe usar durante las otras etapas del embarazo si el beneficio supera al riesgo. Aunque la aplicación tópica de lidocaína está asociada sólo a un nivel bajo de absorción sistémica, el uso de la misma en mujeres embarazadas se debe hacer con precaución debido al número insuficiente de datos disponibles. Se ha observado toxicidad para la reproducción con la administración subcutánea/intramuscular de altas dosis de lidocaína que exceden en mucho a la exposición de la aplicación tópica. Lactancia: Se desconoce si la Sulfadiazina de Plata es eliminada en la leche materna. No obstante, considerando que las sulfonamidas sistémicas son excretadas en la leche y que todos los derivados de estas aumentan el riesgo de kernícterus en el lactante, se deberá discontinuar el tratamiento o la lactancia, dependiendo de lo importante que sea la droga para la madre. La lidocaína se excreta a través de la leche materna, pero en cantidades tan pequeñas que generalmente no existe riesgo de afectar al niño a niveles de dosis terapéutica. Empleo en pediatría: Este fármaco no debe ser empleado en prematuros ni en lactantes menores de 2 meses. Deben tomarse precauciones que aseguren que la aplicación de este producto se limite al área afectada. Empleo en insuficiencia hepática y renal: Está contraindicado en insuficiencia hepática o renal. Interacciones: Se produce un efecto aditivo cuando se combina con agentes bacteriostáticos tipo Tetraciclina. Puede presentarse un efecto antagonista cuando se suministra simultáneamente con antibióticos bactericidas. La administración de Álcalis acelera la depuración metabólica renal de la Sulfadiazina. La sulfadiazina es un inhibidor CYP2C9 y puede causar interacciones farmacológicas con sustratos CYP2C9. Se debe evitar la Sulfadiazina de plata 3 días antes y 3 días después de la administración oral de la vacuna tifoidea viva atenuada. La lidocaína potencia los efectos de la Succinilcolina y la concentración plasmática es mayor en pacientes que reciben Cimetidina. Se debe valorar el riesgo de toxicidad sistémica adicional en pacientes que estén en tratamiento con otros anestésicos locales o fármacos relacionados estructuralmente con anestésicos locales, ya que los efectos tóxicos son aditivos. No se han realizado estudios específicos de interacción entre la lidocaína y antiarrítmicos clase III (p.ej., amiodarona), por lo que se recomienda tener precaución. Los fármacos que reducen la eliminación de lidocaína (p.ej., cimetidina o betabloqueantes) pueden causar concentraciones potencialmente tóxicas en plasma cuando la lidocaína se administra repetidamente en dosis altas durante un largo periodo de tiempo. Población pediátrica No se han realizado estudios de interacción específicos. Es probable que las interacciones sean similares a las de la población adulta.

Acción terapéutica:

Cicatrizante. Antibacteriano. Anestésico Local.

Indicaciones:

Tratamiento antiséptico y cicatrizante de afecciones dermatológicas infectadas o susceptibles de infectarse: úlceras, quemaduras. Se deben tener en cuenta las recomendaciones oficiales sobre el uso y prescripción adecuados de antibacterianos.

Precauciones y advertencias:

Por atenuar o suprimir la acción bacteriana local, la Sulfadiazina de Plata disminuye la autólisis de escaras, por ello son recomendables la hidroterapia diaria y el desbridamiento rápido de las escaras en pacientes con quemaduras de tercer grado. Existe una potencial reacción cruzada entre la Sulfadiazina de Plata y otras sulfonamidas. Si se presentara una reacción alérgica atribuible a la Sulfadiazina de Plata, la continuación de la terapia con este principio activo debe ser sopesada contra los riesgos potenciales de dicha reacción alérgica particular. En acetiladores lentos y en pacientes con insuficiencia renal y/o hepática se debe tener precaución por el riesgo de acumulación del medicamento; en estos casos es recomendable evitar la aplicación en lesiones de gran superficie y abiertas, sobre todo úlceras. También se debe tener precaución en caso de lesión del parénquima del hígado. Si aparecen signos de leucopenia se recomienda realizar un recuento leucocitario de control. En pacientes con insuficiencia de glucosa-6-fosfato deshidrogenasa el uso de la Sulfadiazina de Plata entraña el riesgo de hemólisis. Este medicamento NO debe ser aplicado sobre el ojo. En caso de aplicación sobre el rostro, debe evitarse todo contacto con los ojos. Debe evitarse la aplicación de Lidocaína sobre la piel durante períodos prolongados o en áreas muy extensas. Precauciones: Generales: Los pacientes sensibles a otras sulfonamidas, furosemida, diuréticos tiazídicos, sulfonilureas o inhibidores de la anhidrasa carbónica pueden ser sensibles a la Sulfadiazina de Plata. No se recomienda su uso en estos pacientes. En tratamientos prolongados o con altas dosis de Sulfadiazina de Plata, en pacientes con disfunción renal o hepática o con quemaduras extensas, dada la posibilidad de una menor eliminación o de acumulación de la droga, se deberá monitorear periódicamente la función renal y la presencia de cristales de orina. Se recomienda realizar un aporte suficiente de líquidos para alcanzar una diuresis de 50-100 ml/hora. La luz solar puede producir coloración gris de la Sulfadiazina de Plata. Por consiguiente, se recomienda evitar la exposición de las zonas tratadas con este producto a la luz solar directa, por ejemplo, cubriendo la crema con un apósito. Lidocaína: Los pacientes con metahemoglobinemia congénita o idiopática por deficiencia de glucosa-6-fosfato deshidrogenasa son más susceptibles a mostrar signos de metahemoglobinemia inducida por el fármaco. En pacientes con deficiencia de glucosa-6-fosfato deshidrogenasa, el antídoto azul de metileno es ineficaz para reducir la metahemoglobina y es capaz de oxidar la propia hemoglobina y, por consiguiente, no se puede administrar tratamiento con azul de metileno. Los pacientes en tratamiento con medicamentos antiarrítmicos clase III (p.ej., amiodarona) deben permanecer estrechamente vigilados y considerarse la monitorización por electrocardiograma (ECG), debido a que los efectos cardiacos pueden ser aditivos. La lidocaína posee propiedades bactericidas y antivirales en concentraciones superiores a 0,5- 2%. No se ha establecido la seguridad y la eficacia del uso de tópica en la piel genital ni en la mucosa genital en niños menores de 12 años. Pruebas de laboratorio: En el tratamiento de quemaduras que involucran extensas áreas del cuerpo, la concentración sérica de sulfa puede aproximarse a los niveles terapéuticos en el adulto. En pacientes con quemaduras extensas se deberán realizar antes y durante el tratamiento análisis hemáticos a fin de detectar discrasias sanguíneas. El tratamiento deberá discontinuarse ante una disminución significativa de cualquier elemento sanguíneo. Embarazo: Las sulfonamidas cruzan con facilidad la barrera placentaria durante todas las etapas de la gestación. Las sulfonamidas pueden desplazar a la bilirrubina de los sitios de unión a las proteínas en el plasma fetal e incrementar, de este modo, el riesgo de kernícterus. Si bien la experimentación en animales no ha demostrado efectos teratogénicos, al no haber estudios adecuados y bien controlados en embarazadas, se recomienda no administrar, especialmente en el último trimestre del embarazo. Este medicamento sólo se debe usar durante las otras etapas del embarazo si el beneficio supera al riesgo. Aunque la aplicación tópica de lidocaína está asociada sólo a un nivel bajo de absorción sistémica, el uso de la misma en mujeres embarazadas se debe hacer con precaución debido al número insuficiente de datos disponibles. Se ha observado toxicidad para la reproducción con la administración subcutánea/intramuscular de altas dosis de lidocaína que exceden en mucho a la exposición de la aplicación tópica. Lactancia: Se desconoce si la Sulfadiazina de Plata es eliminada en la leche materna. No obstante, considerando que las sulfonamidas sistémicas son excretadas en la leche y que todos los derivados de estas aumentan el riesgo de kernícterus en el lactante, se deberá discontinuar el tratamiento o la lactancia, dependiendo de lo importante que sea la droga para la madre. La lidocaína se excreta a través de la leche materna, pero en cantidades tan pequeñas que generalmente no existe riesgo de afectar al niño a niveles de dosis terapéutica. Empleo en pediatría: Este fármaco no debe ser empleado en prematuros ni en lactantes menores de 2 meses. Deben tomarse precauciones que aseguren que la aplicación de este producto se limite al área afectada. Empleo en insuficiencia hepática y renal: Está contraindicado en insuficiencia hepática o renal. Interacciones: Se produce un efecto aditivo cuando se combina con agentes bacteriostáticos tipo Tetraciclina. Puede presentarse un efecto antagonista cuando se suministra simultáneamente con antibióticos bactericidas. La administración de Álcalis acelera la depuración metabólica renal de la Sulfadiazina. La sulfadiazina es un inhibidor CYP2C9 y puede causar interacciones farmacológicas con sustratos CYP2C9. Se debe evitar la Sulfadiazina de plata 3 días antes y 3 días después de la administración oral de la vacuna tifoidea viva atenuada. La lidocaína potencia los efectos de la Succinilcolina y la concentración plasmática es mayor en pacientes que reciben Cimetidina. Se debe valorar el riesgo de toxicidad sistémica adicional en pacientes que estén en tratamiento con otros anestésicos locales o fármacos relacionados estructuralmente con anestésicos locales, ya que los efectos tóxicos son aditivos. No se han realizado estudios específicos de interacción entre la lidocaína y antiarrítmicos clase III (p.ej., amiodarona), por lo que se recomienda tener precaución. Los fármacos que reducen la eliminación de lidocaína (p.ej., cimetidina o betabloqueantes) pueden causar concentraciones potencialmente tóxicas en plasma cuando la lidocaína se administra repetidamente en dosis altas durante un largo periodo de tiempo. Población pediátrica No se han realizado estudios de interacción específicos. Es probable que las interacciones sean similares a las de la población adulta.
